
On November 25th-26th, 2024, the Widows Mite Reach Out Foundation (WIMROF) and BUBA F Foundation collaborated to conduct a transformative Mental Awareness Program in three secondary schools in Kano. Reaching over 4,000 female students, the program aimed to shed light on mental health, educate on depression and its challenges, and equip students with tools for building resilience.
This initiative underscores the critical role of mental health awareness in shaping a healthier and more empowered future generation.
Objectives of the Mental Awareness Program
